2025 EVENT
The Adisham Country Fayre is an annual event held in the village of Adisham, with an aim to raise much needed funds for the repair and rejuvenation of the focal point of its community, its Village Hall.

Every year, a small group of villagers come together to organise the Fayre to host a fabulous display of vintage and military vehicles, performances of local groups, trade and craft stalls as well as food and drink. We warmly welcome everyone to our small piece of the Kentish Countryside to enjoy the event that never fails to provide such a cheerful and lively atmosphere.

ACTIVITIES FROM HOLY INNOCENTS' CHURCH
Holy Innocents' Church are delighted to be part of the Adisham Country Fayre. This is a Community Event into which we, Holy Innocents' Church, merged our Traditional Annual Church Strawberry Tea in 2019 and have participated annually since.
We run four activities thanks to the practical support and donations from the local community.
Church Strawberry Teas are served in the Village Hall. We value volunteers both in the kitchen and as waiter/waitresses.
Church Homemade Cakes and Jam Stall in the Village Hall. All home baking contributions welcome.
Church Tombola Stall outside at the back of the Village Hall. We are always grateful for "small ticket items as prizes".
Church Cushion Stall outside at the back of the Village Hall. Beautiful hand made cushions available to buy.
If you can help in any way, we would love to hear from you.

ADISHAM VILLAGE
GAMES
Usually the last events to take place in the arena are the village games. All are invited to take part in the traditional tug of war, target welly wanging, and the challenging raw egg throwing and catching competition.
For those uninitiated the target welly throwing was introduced last year to prevent a muscular dad endangering the audience by actually throwing a size 11 welly 64 meters! Needless to say his daughter also threw the furthest in the child class.
For the egg throwing you just need a very trusted partner who is better at throwing and catching than the rest. Or you can live dangerously and ask a perfect stranger thereby raising the eggsitement to another level.
Just imagine the kudos of being the 2024 champion and being able to brag about it for the next 12 months.
Finally, Health and Safety dictates that I must say that all contestants compete at their own risk.

L&M'S PUB
Adisham's Pop Up Bar
Our bar was bought by Adisham matriarch Madge Maxted in memory of her late husband Len, who was born and bred in the village and lived here until his passing.
Cherie & Kelly, the two friendliest bar maids will be happy to serve you a variety of beers, lagers, ciders, spirits and wine. In summer months they make an amazing Pimms and Sangria all at very reasonable prices. - See you there!
The band Even Road are performing at the bar from 3-5pm.
The bar will also be available at several other pop up events in the village hall throughout the year.

WHO WE ARE
The Adisham Country Fayre will run for the 4th time this year since it started in 2019. The fayre is organised by a small group of volunteers that begin preparations for the fayre in February to start putting plans in place for the event. Whilst our committee is made up of local people, we have attendees from all over the county that join us on the day to celebrate our village, and to raise much needed funds for our Village Hall. The Village Hall is a communal space for anyone to hire, but is also used to host a wide variety of events, which as a small village, are so important to us.
We continue to expand the fayre every year, with new stallholders and performances for children and adults to enjoy. We feel very proud to see the fayre grow every year, with both new and familiar faces coming through the gate, we hope you’ll join us for it.
